I can't get it via amazon because I'm not a new verizon customer. The TV worked wonderfully and kept my son entertained at times when we had long, arduous waits. The reception of this phone was exceptional.
This is my 2nd one as the first one was defective and they replaced it. I have had this phone now for approx 1 year.
I am heartbroken as I truly love this phone. It's phenomenal in all aspects except for one.Verizon.
They have been the WORST company to deal with when it comes to customer service and thus, has tainted my views of having this phone again.Right now my phone is broken because of family members who disrespected my phone and crushed it. When others would have trouble, I wouldn't and I'd like to say it was because of Verizon but I can't as others who were having problems were on Verizon phones so I'd like to hope it's this phone. You can't get this phone via Verizon anymore.as I am trying.*desperately* through my local verizon carrier.
Sucks to be me, doesn't it.I wouldn't be at verizon PERIOD if it weren't for this phone right now and I have another year on my contract.Phone great.Verizon not so much.
Ergonomically, it is so hard to get used to since the send and end buttoms are located at the bottom of the phone, squarish design is hard to hold the phone without pushing the side buttons, hidden antenna peaks out sometimes and doesn't lock in so well. I called verizon and they replaced my phone. is he out of his mind. and u said this is your second time.". but now i have the same problem, but they won't replace it because it's out of warrenty. so I went, stupid techs couldn't figure out what was wrong.
I had major issue with the phone after three months of using it. But then one of them said that LG guarentees their phone, so i can't get anything else unless i had major problems with it many times. Here was what happened. I didn't even try to mess with the blue tooth after trying for couple of months. I yelled like crazy, and they said ok, we are gonna change it for you, just go to the loca tech and dignose the problem.
DOES NOT WORK. but that's about it. customers come here all the time with thier phones broken 5-6 times. I got it because it was so pretty and cute. So i asked them im sick of this phone, i wanna get a different brand. The screen was going blank when i swivel it up and down. Not worth of your money. And since i have newly replaced my phone, the device has new 1yr warrenty.
I had major problems with this phone. NOW I HAVE PROBLEM BUT THEY REFUSE TO GUARENTEE. I complained to the tech about it and he said "what's wrong with you. i was like. That was last Thanks Giving time. Verizon is not helpful, not nice, money eaters. Speaker is horrible, battery life is even worse. I TELL YOU, I CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AS NUMBER 1 FACTOR TO CONSIDER WHEN I PURCHASE THINGS, BUT VERIZON IS NOT IT.
When i fist replaced my phone, they told me the battery and the device are 1yr warrenty. Now, I asked them to replace my phone, they say well, it's not under warrenty so i have to pay total of $90 to replace my phone. that is NOT supposed to happen.anywaysi rate this phone really poor like.really poor. so if you consider sooner or later u have to deal with customer svc and the quality of the svc, Go to somewehre else.
this is annoying i mean who wants to type in a code everytime they want to use their phone. it is very difficult to browse through the menu if it is closed. the only way to avoid this is to lock it with the security code. Even if you have to press the ok button twice it still is pretty easy to call someone when it is in your pocket i have done it numerous times while im at work. this is a really cool phone but it does have some flaws that can be quite annoying.1. id stick with a traditional flip phone if i could go back and do it again. press random buttons and it goes back to normal4. whenyou flip the screen from portrait to landscape a lot of times their is a lag and a delay.
it is much easier to browse when the phones in landscape mode but its annoying.5. you cant set a ringtone for individual people when they text you. when the phone is in your pocket it can randomly hit the send button and call people and you dont even know it. its hard to press the up button because the screen gets in the way. 2. you can set individual ringtones for phone calls but not texts.3. Another problem is that the plug for the charger doesnt go in all the way to the phone, allowing it to fall out really easily.overall its not a bad phone but it does have its problems, and i cant say i would buy it again just for the sole reason that ive mistakenly made at least a call a week by accident and then had to explain it to the person i called. it does have a cool design but i just dont think it is worth the headache.
I like the size, can slip it into a pocket. Owned this for 4 months, no problems, decent reception, small lightweight, great little screen if you watch videos. Takes nice photos for a phone, and videos. I like that the keys are covered, and the ones that aren't are locked (if you want them to be locked) because I have a habit of calling people when I don't want to call them- ie the phone dials when left in a purse or pocket. Doesn't happen with this phone.
I purchased this phone since I travel quite frequently and wanted to be able to watch TV while being stuck at Airports in the West Coast. On their website they tout the A2DP capabilities, and outline all the capabilities of the phone. Eventutally, he was stumped and decided to pass me on to a Tier 2 technician. After being on hold over 30 minutes (he did come back once or twice to tell me he was investigating) the tier one support person informed me that the Mobile TV does not support Bluetooth devices.I was upset, at this fact, and asked if it would be addressed in a software update.
Voila, I could send and recieve calls and watch VCast videos and listen to music well, unfortunately, my mobile TV was still coming out of the phone's speaker, and not my new latest and greatest $120 headset.I called after 6 pm Pacific Time and discovered I couldn't get a tech support technician to work with me. I complained that I was misrepresented of the product's functionality by sales, and by him (since he was trying to get it to work and did not know it was not supported), but he claimed, no, we never advertise that it works for Mobile TV, it works for the Phone. When I called and talked to the sales representatives at Verizon, they explained how great the phone was, and that it leveraged the latest A2DP capability to stream music, video and TV to the latest Stereo Bluetooth Headsets.I purchased the phone, and I also purchased a pair of bluetooth stereo Headsets that support A2DP (Samsung SBH170s).The phone does work well, as does the TV (depending on the Market, I found that Portland, Seattle and Las Vegas, but is somewhat spotty in the LA area, and doesn't yet exist in Phoenix). When my headset arrived, I immediately paired it to my phone.
He explained that, no it would not, that you have to listen to it through the Speakerphone. Eventually, I was able to call during normal business hours on a phone that was not my cell (to adjust it).I was more knowledgeable than the level one technician, who I had to explain over and over that the bluetooth device was paired, and I could send and receive calls and listen to music with my headset. I could tell he was going through a step by step procedure, having me turn the phone off and on, and verify that the bluetooth icon was showing up, even after I explained it was working fine in every aspect but the Mobile TV.
I said I did not purchase two products, but one phone and that it was clearly falsely advertised. This is the second time, I've had issue with false advertisement from Verizon. They never in any place identify that *BLUETOOTH DEVICES ARE NOT SUPPORTED ON MOBILE TV*.So, I'll eventually be joining the class action lawsuit which should take about three months(I was involved in another where they misrepresented functionality on a previous phone), and am in the process of trying to get a refund, which they are saying is past my 30 day return policy on the phone.Be forewarned, this isn't a bluetooth capable device, 100%
